55-hour battery life

55 hours is long enough to fly from Helsinki to Hong Kong, change planes, fly to Australia, hang out with dingos with the headphones on, fly back, and still have battery left for the train home. The battery lasts almost as long as one Chinese factory worker's shift. If you get stranded in the wilderness with your Valcos, you'll die of thirst before your headphones run out of juice. We haven't tested this, but we think it's likely.

This is what we sell

At Valco, we sell genuinely great noise cancelling headphones, Bluetooth speakers, accessories and a rotating cast of lifestyle products like sunglasses. Not just because they're brilliant. Every product sold (and every euro of yours we pocket) gets us one step closer to our actual goal: building the Death Star and conquering the galaxy.

Designed to last. Repaired after that too.

Headphone repair customer reviews
4.9

With electronics it usually goes like this: warranty ends, the thing breaks, and your options are the bin or a new one. We repair your headphones even after the warranty's done. Even if you sit on them drunk, the dog chews the headband, or your kid decides to test whether they can fly off the balcony.

We plant a tree for every pair of headphones sold

Valco wants to look like the good guys and sell a lot of headphones. Since everyone else is doing this kind of thing these days, we figured we'd launch our own environmental campaign too. Obviously it's greenwashing when a company plants trees. No point pretending otherwise. Let's be honest.

"On calls, the Valco VMK25.2 impresses with excellent speech intelligibility on both ends. (…) That leaves plenty of energy for a fresh, open reproduction of the mids and highs, which shine with very good resolution."

Mobiili.fi

"In the two-hundred-euro price range, the Valco VMK25.2 headphones are definitely an option worth considering."

io-tech.fi

"No gimmicks, just pure sound for those who actually listen to music with intent." On the NL25 earbuds, score 8.5/10

Headphonecheck

Kuulokenurkka.com

"The Valco VMK20 headphones impress above all with their sound quality. So far I haven't heard better noise cancelling headphones."

"The VMK25 isn't the most feature-packed noise cancelling headphone on the market. But if you value ease of use, durability and good sound, it's a no-brainer."

Muropaketti / Tekniikan Maailma

"Straight out of the box, the sound is really excellent. It has liveliness, dimension, brightness and even a decent amount of dynamics. The sound also feels remarkably spacious for earbuds." Reviewed: Valco NL25

An honest headphone comparison

Our competitors make good headphones. We have to admit it, even if it makes us grind our teeth. Then again, it'd be pretty embarrassing to make bad headphones with thousands of employees on the payroll. The difference is in how much margin gets eaten by executive salaries, what happens after you buy, and most importantly, whether you can grab a beer with the CEO.

Four good reasons to buy from us

Killer value for money

Even though we sell these headphones to fund the construction of our Death Star, we still offer something genuinely one of a kind.

Valco headphones combine the best sensibly priced components, Finnish design, and Jasse Kesti's 20+ years of mastering experience. All at a very reasonable price.

We'll go out on a limb and say Valco headphones offer unbeatable value for money and a listening experience that's untouchable in their price range.

If all goes well, in 2025 we'll have what might be the world's first headphones manufactured in Finland. And quite possibly the only ones in the world, Valco headphones also have an official aftermarket. You can trade in your old pair for new ones!

Shipping's on us

So basically, we don't charge for shipping. Since the United States of America has decided to seek military protection from Finland and NATO has now joined Finland, as a show of solidarity we no longer charge them for shipping either, even though they live far from here at the center of the world.

You should however be prepared to pay customs if you live in some developing country like Switzerland or Norway. Thanks to Brexit, the UK is now also a developing country.

Actually, if you live in Europe outside the EU (i.e., the UK), you're almost better off ordering the headphones through our reseller Thomann.

Valco's full warranty

Valco products come with a unique two-year full warranty. It covers everything except damage caused by gross negligence or intent, and even then we can usually help out (for a small fee, at the very least).

So during the warranty period we hang on tooth and nail to make sure you can fully enjoy your Valco headphones (or other Valco audio products).

Our loyal minions reply to your emails, chat with you on Facebook, and keep you company on lonely evenings.

We believe that good customer service, including after the sale, is the best way to market products.

And once the warranty period ends, you can still get spare parts from us and have your headphones repaired back to like-new condition for a nominal fee, for as long as this outfit exists.

Risk-free purchase

We trust what we sell. Unlike your spouse, we're not satisfied unless you're 100% satisfied.

You can try the headphones at home and return them within 14 days if, for example, the bailiff is knocking, your head is too lumpy, or you just don't appreciate a good pair of headphones. Just remember that when you return them, the headphones should be intact and clean. We don't want your earwax or dandruff any more than anyone else does.

If for some reason you end up returning your purchase, let customer service know (so we can send the money back to the right place) and ship the product back. That's it. We won't harass you or ask dumb questions.

Naturally, if there's anything we can improve, we're happy to hear your ideas.

...and one more thing

Valco Oy isn't some faceless website. We have the company's business ID and the owners' names and faces clearly visible on our website. We're real people who enjoy the small pleasures of life.

The money you give us goes honestly toward beer, child support payments, big gold watches, and sports cars. Whatever's left, we'll put toward the Death Star.

Unlike our competitors, like [Big Asian conglomerate], [World's biggest American corporation], and [Big German microphone factory owned by a Swiss holding company], Valco's founders are actually reachable and can even go for a beer with you.

Try the same with [Megacorp].

At Valco Oy, we're proud to be real people, with real faces, who actually care about our customers. Join the gang and feel the difference!

If you feel like supporting this circus, the easiest way is noise cancelling headphones, earbuds or Bluetooth speakers. The Death Star won't pay for itself.

Okay, you talked me into it
