Valco Nordell Micro is a small but feisty Bluetooth speaker that goes wherever you do, to the beach, the sauna, or those desperate barbecue parties where the only sound system is your friend's miserable phone beeping.

A speaker that isn't afraid of ass cracks or sewers

We think Nordell Micro is at its best hanging from your belt loop next to a flashing ass crack, playing the hockey game or a football match while you're elbow-deep in a sewer trying to clear a blockage caused by yesterday's kebab, with one hand still needing to hold your beer can.

The size of a bar of soap, with the sound of a big speaker

In the American measurement system, this little speaker is the size of a bar of soap and weighs about as much as an apple. For everyone else, that's 200 grams and roughly 10 × 8 × 4.5 centimetres. But don't let the size fool you. This small Bluetooth speaker plays so loud that plenty of bigger and more expensive ones are left speechless. And just like an actual bar of soap, you probably shouldn't drop this one on a prison shower floor either. There is a rubber surface on the back to stop it sliding around, whether it's on tile or a truck dashboard.

IPX6 protection, ready for whatever life throws at it

Just like its big brother, Nordell Micro isn't scared of water, sweat, or even the occasional spray of piss, thanks to its IPX6 protection. That makes it the perfect speaker for the cabin, the building site, or festivals where hygiene is more of a theory than a practical concern.

Bluetooth works, as long as you stay near the beers

Bluetooth works within roughly a 10 to 15 metre radius. And honestly, why would you want your drinks or your phone any farther away? Fully charged, this small portable speaker can keep blasting for 3 to 6 hours, depending on the volume, the climate, and the alignment of the planets. If it could fit a bigger battery, it wouldn't be this small anymore. And then it wouldn't be this.

Finnish sound, Chinese body, the best of both

Let's be honest, this is Chinese engineering, and we're not hiding that. Without Chinese manufacturing, we couldn't sell it at a price you could afford. But the sound, tuning, and soul were made in Finland. More specifically at Valco, and even more specifically by Jasse “Jazmanaut” Kesti, who we reckon is Finland's, if not the world's, best sound dictator.

Valco Nordell Micro is the perfect choice for anyone who appreciates good sound but doesn't want to lug around anything unnecessary.
