From the VMK20 came a new, better noise cancelling headphone

Can you even improve on headphones that were already great? The VMK20 was a hit: tens of thousands of pairs sold and praise from both the media and customers. But progress keeps progressing. So we used it as the foundation for a new, even better model.

Modern Finnish design, no blinking lights

Finnish design studio Ratamo Design gave the look a refresh: more modern, but still recognizably Valco. Both status LEDs sit inside the ear cup, because headphones don't need to glow in the dark. That way nobody spots you crouched in the bushes with these on, lying in wait.

Swappable covers and more personality

The VMK25 has magnetic color covers you can swap, wash, and customize, for your own enjoyment or to annoy everyone else.

New drivers and better noise cancellation

New 45 mm composite drivers take the sound quality to a new level. A completely new noise cancellation circuit and thick memory foam cushions block out noise so effectively you can listen to silence. There's also transparency mode included, even though we think it's kind of pointless. But you wanted it, so we built it.

Not the newest model, but still excellent

In the interest of honesty: the VMK25.2 has already taken its place, and this one has been out for a few years too. You won't find the latest Bluetooth tech here. But the hybrid noise cancellation, 45 mm composite drivers, and Jasse's sound tuning haven't changed one bit. Sound quality doesn't know inflation, and at this price you'll damn happily listen to these.

This is a warranty-serviced unit that came in as a trade-in. The headphones ship in their original packaging, including the manual, charging cable, and 3.5 mm audio cable. Worn cushions have been replaced with new ones, and unused ones have been disinfected. There may be minor signs of use, but nothing significant: practically as good as new. The warranty is the standard 24 months, with a 14-day return right, same as a new headphone.

Fifty hours. That's two days of uninterrupted listening. You fly from Helsinki to Tokyo, sleep through the hotel silence, and fly back without a single recharge. If you're a normal person and don't fly to Tokyo, it easily lasts a week. You charge on Sunday and the next time you need the charger is the following weekend. Or later, if you forget.

Yes, but inspected, repaired and tested by us with love. The pads have been replaced, or disinfected if they weren't worn. Basically as good as new.
