Warranty-serviced VMK20 noise cancelling headphones
Originally we tried to stay alive by selling warranty returns caused by the unbelievably nasty chip shortage back to customers. Well, it turned out people are actually perfectly happy to buy used headphones a bit cheaper, as long as the warranty is genuinely still valid.
You can now trade in your used VMK20 headphones with us, and get a reasonable credit toward new headphones. We take these headphones, repair them, clean them, service them, make sweet love to them, and put them up for sale here just for you.
Refurbished units go on sale whenever Hannes has time to fix them up, so if they’re sold out right now, it’s worth checking back again in a few days.
Color options show up for sale pretty randomly depending on what comes in through trade-ins. If you want to make sure you get headphones in a color you actually like, it’s worth ordering new ones here.

Wired microphone thingy
Order any VMK headphones together with a wired microphone thingy and get a discount!
With the wired microphone thing, you get a lag-free gaming experience, and you don't have to buy a separate pair of ugly gaming headphones. The boom mic you can shove in front of your mouth also helps filter out annoying coworkers, if you're still somehow being dragged into the office in the 2020s.

What the hell is a noise-cancelling headphone?
In the video below, Jasse "Jazmanaut" Kesti explains in plain English what the hell people actually mean when they talk about ANC.
Note: The video tests the VMK25 headphones, which have slightly better ANC than the VMK20 model.

Great products without the extra baggage*
Did you know that almost all headphone electronics come from a handful of giants?
Everything else is just smoke, mirrors, and sales bullshit.
A small manufacturer like Valco can use the same top-tier components as the famous megacorps use in their pricier models.
We just don’t have a thousand employees to feed, a skyscraper in Manhattan, or a CEO with a private jet. Yet.
That’s how we can offer you the best bang for your buck on the market.
And what about after you’ve bought them? Our customer service and Valco’s own repair shop make sure our products last. And if you want a change, you can trade your old Valcos back to us. Try that somewhere else.
In the end, though, what really matters is why we do this. We sell headphones to make money for our own Death Star, with which we will achieve dominion over the galaxy.

Headphone FAQ
You’ll find more answers to various questions here.
Do these have a built-in microphone?
Yep. All VMK series headphones have a built-in hands-free microphone, so you can take calls and sit through boring Teams meetings.
Are these suitable for gaming?
If you play single-player games, then sure, why not. But Bluetooth still isn't all that great for wireless gaming headphones. If you want to use the VMK headphones for gaming, it's worth buying the wired microphone thingy, and then you get excellent noise-cancelling headphones for gaming too.
How are Valco headphones different from the competition?
Our headphones offer excellent sound quality, long battery life, and they’re as comfy as a down pillow. And best of all, they’re designed in Finland. By buying Valco headphones, you can be sure your money mostly goes to the Finnish taxman and the retail oligopoly.
While the headphones themselves don’t exactly differ from others all that much, apart from being really damn good for the price, our customer service is something you won’t get elsewhere. Or can you send some other brand’s headphones in for service after the warranty expires?
Of course, the biggest difference between us and the others is that we’re actual human beings. The money we get honestly goes to beer, child support payments, big gold watches, and sports cars. Well, at least the little bit that’s left after the Finnish taxman sinks his claws into it.
Unlike our competitors, such as [Large Japanese or Korean conglomerate], [The world’s largest American corporation], and [Large German microphone factory], you can reach the entrepreneurs behind Valco anytime and even go grab a beer with us.
Try doing that with [Megakorporaation].
Do Valco headphones have a warranty?
Of course! We believe in our products so much that we give them a two-year so-called full warranty, which is more comprehensive than what others offer. If the fault is clearly on us, we’ll still help with headphone issues even after the warranty period. And once the warranty runs out, there’s no need to panic either. Unlike other headphone manufacturers, we have our own service department. If you run into problems, we’re here to help. But don’t worry, Valco headphones are as reliable as Finnish sisu!
What’s the difference between the VMK20 and VMK25 models besides the price?
Both headphones come with top-notch Bluetooth connectivity and sound quality that’ll make you dance. VMK25 is just a hair better of the two. Its build is sturdier, the materials are pricier, and it comes with a new kind of ANC plus new drivers. Still, both headphones are absolutely worth the money.
