Stratovarius headphones, now available without the obligation to go on tour. The same headphones the band uses, with the star emblem on both covers and the Stratovarius logo on the case lid. You can listen to other things with them too, but we understand if you'd rather not.

How the pre-order works:

Order yours from 9.10., and no later than 30.10.2026. We brand the batch based on the orders once the pre-order closes and deliver your headphones no later than 13.11.2026.

Ordering from outside the EU? Shipping is still included, but the journey takes a little longer and your local customs may charge import duties and taxes on arrival.

Not a single one of those notes was played in vain

There is plenty to hear on a Stratovarius record. Valco's sound guru Jasse ”Jazmanaut” Kesti tuned these so that Matias's tight, colourful guitar work, Jens's wild keyboard runs, Lauri's growling bass, every single hit of Rolf's drums and, of course, the full range of Timo's voice stay apart from each other even at full speed.

When someone has learned to play all of that, the polite thing to do is to hear it the way it was meant to be heard.

New on the inside, band on the outside

The VMK25.2 runs on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 chipset. Better sound quality, more stable and versatile Bluetooth, more efficient power management. The battery lasts 55 hours on a single charge, so you'll forget what a charging cable looks like. USB-C tops it back up fast, and the thick memory foam cushions keep your ears happy even while you sleep.

ANC, transparency mode, and a zero-blinking-LED policy

Active noise cancelling cuts out the bus and the open-plan office, so the songs come through without cranking the volume all the way up. Transparency mode is in there for the people who asked, even though we still don't understand why. We don't believe in flashing disco LEDs, so the indicator lights are tucked away inside the cups.

Magnetic covers

The covers attach with magnets and swap without tools. Valco's own covers are included too, in case you ever need to disguise the headphones as plain ones.

55 timmars batteritid

The best noise cancelling headphones you can afford!

The best noise cancelling headphones you can afford!

Sound tuned by an actual genius

Jasse "Jazmanaut" Kesti, who has spent decades mastering records, has tuned the 45 mm drivers to play music exactly the way it was meant to sound in the studio. If the source material is any good, the VMK25.2 reveals nuances you never knew existed, right down to the bass player's garlic breath. The detail is at a level that makes the competition embarrassed to exist.

A future app, whenever it's done

One Christian is building the Valco app on the side of his day job, paid in beer. The app is not required to use the headphones, because we're not idiots. When it's eventually done, you'll be able to tweak the EQ and listen to soothing sounds like "Helsinki Market Square seagulls" and "Daycare kids on a sugar high".

Throwaway culture is bullshit

We don't make trash. If you manage to sit on your headphones, Hannes and Toni up in Kajaani will still fix them years from now for a nominal fee. You're buying a partnership, not hazardous waste.

Finnish applied art

The exterior design is the work of Lauri Lumme. There's enough adjustment to fit the CEO's oversized head, and normal ones too.

What on earth is a noise cancelling headphone?

In the video below, Jasse "Jazmanaut" Kesti spells out what's actually going on when we talk about noise cancellation.

Note! The video tests the older VMK25 headphones, which have slightly weaker noise cancellation than the new VMK25.2 model.

FAQ

Fler svar på alla möjliga frågor här.

Is this an official Stratovarius collaboration?

It is. The emblem and logo are the band's own, and the headphones were made together with them. The band uses the same headphones themselves, which is rarer in merch than you'd think.

How do these differ from the standard VMK25.2?

Looks. The tech is the same: hybrid ANC, 45 mm drivers and 55 hours of battery with ANC on. Sadly, the star emblem adds no decibels.

What does pre-order mean?

It means the branding is done to order. We collect orders until 30.10. and then brand exactly as many as were ordered. You pay when you order. Everyone who orders during the window gets theirs. We make sure of that.

When will I get my headphones?

No later than 13.11.2026. Shipping abroad may take a little longer. If they arrive early, we won't apologise.

Do you ship internationally?

We do. The price is the same everywhere, shipping included. For parcels going outside the EU, the recipient pays any customs duties and import taxes. Your government sets those, not us.
